What Is the Bullying, Literacy & Leadership Experience?

The Bullying, Literacy & Leadership Experience (BLLX) is an interactive professional learning experience that moves beyond traditional presentations to engage adults in meaningful reflection, discussion, and decision-making.

BLLX brings together three essential areas:

Bullying: Recognizing the difference between bullying and conflict, identifying warning signs, and responding with informed, practical strategies.

Literacy: Using language, literature, and meaningful conversations to strengthen communication, empathy, critical thinking, and student voice.

Leadership: Building confidence, encouraging advocacy, and empowering adults to make decisions that positively influence children's lives.

The Immersive Bullying Simulation

One of BLLX's signature learning experiences places participants inside an unfolding situation involving multiple characters and perspectives.

Participants receive information in stages. They must examine what they know, question their assumptions, consider what they may be missing, and reconsider their decisions as new information emerges.
