Do you want to share Gertrude and Sam Holifield lineage with your children and grandchildren?

 

I propose Sam and Gertrude's grandchildren produce a family tree by December 2024 or earlier.

That's gives us up to 11 months to produce documents and resources to validate the births, deaths, marriages, and locations of at least five generations of Holifield and Palm descendants. 

Why Do It?

Because its important for our children to know where they come from!

INTRODUCING...

THE PROCESS

AT LEAST ONE REPRESENTATIVE FROM EACH OF SAM AND GERTRUDE'S CHILDREN CAN GATHER INFORMATION FOR ALL OF THAT PERSON'S DESCENDENTS.

The ASK is for the representative to provide:

  • Vital records / documents / records to prove the names, events and dates. Family Bibles, birth certificates, marriage licenses, ship manifests (passenger lists), military records, Wills and obituaries are all necessary, 
  • Pictures
  • Input on the final document and how to distribute it

A representative from each of Sam and Gertrude's children has reached out to AngelaO

Each representative  validate the number of generations and descendants derived from their parents; to include vital records. 

 

March 2024

Edit and validate data. Begin to layout the document.  Address any gaps. 

April 2024

 Validate Sam and Gertrude's siblings

June 2024

Edit the product. Ensure we have all of Sam and Gertrude's descendants and their grandparents documented

July 2024

Format the product with the goal of distributing by December 2024.

October 2024

Focus on distributing the document to family members.

My intention is to work on this project a few days every month until December 2024. It would be great to have input from a representative from each of my mother's siblings.
